It’s very hard to believe that my son, Noah, is almost 3 years old! It seems like yesterday when we were setting up the nursery and awaiting his arrival. Now, here I am writing about my toddler’s room.
Back then, I decided to go with a transitional design, so that we wouldn’t have to make any major changes as he grew older. Our parents were a huge help in painting the room and hanging up the décor as perfectly as I imagined.
When Noah turned 2, we moved the crib out of his room and brought in “big boy” furniture. I’m a bargain shopper and rarely buy full price items when I can help it. I also take my time to make sure that I love a piece of furniture or décor before I bring it home. A big plus is that I’m blessed to have a super handy husband and father-in-law who can help me put together projects for the kids’ rooms.
We call Noah our little tornado because his room can go from tidy to “what happened in here?!” in less than 5 minutes. Luckily, most of his toys are kept in the family room where we spend most of our time, so it doesn’t take too long to clean up.
Noah loves his room! Anytime his friends or cousins visit, his face lights up when they walk into his space.
